7) Abstract Research : Sergey Neamoscou

Sergey Neamscou is an photographer I found on Flickr. She uses camera shake and various apertures to create distorted semi abstract shots.

I love the colours of this image. There is a gradual scale of pinks and red expanding from the center of the image. I feel this combined with the shot being out of focus creates a relaxing effect on the viewer. The subject matches well with the style of the shot. If the photographer used a camera shake affect I don't think it would've worked well with the the blossom as it's such a beautiful summertime flower.

I really like how the subject's face is blurred and I feel the downwards thrust of movement in the image compliments the composition of the model.

This image has such dark gloomy almost sinister mood to it. I love the depth and composition of this image. I believe the red light comes from using a lomo camera. I might try and shoot early in the morning to get a misty effect just like this shot.
